Day School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
The mission of the Amos and Celia Heilicher Minneapolis Jewish Day School Parent Teacher Organization is to enhance communication among teachers, administration, and parents in order to enrich our community and the Day School experience for our children. PTO leadership coordinates many dedicated volunteers who offer support in a variety of areas, including help in classrooms, the dining room, and the art room; and assisting with special projects, educational programs, and fundraising. We welcome your involvement, energy, and new ideas for the PTO in 2009-10/5769-70 and beyond!

Spirit Shop/Spirit Days

HMJDS observes Spirit Day each month, on or near Rosh Hodesh (the beginning of a new Jewish month). Students, faculty, and staff are all encouraged to sport HMJDS logo-wear on Spirit Days.

The PTO operates the Spirit Shop, selling t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other items with the HMJDS logo. The Spirit Shop will be open at every all-school Kabbalat Shabbat during the school year (October 2, November 13, December 18, January 22, March 26, April 23, and May 21) and on selected additional dates.
