The Amos and Celia Heilicher Minneapolis Jewish Day School is more than just an institution—we an extended Jewish family that includes a group of special relatives and friends. Why Support The Day School?
The Day School is proud to provide its unique education—an integrated curriculum of Judaic and general studies—to all children. Throughout our history, we have worked very hard to make a day school education a reality for every family that wishes to enroll. As a result, many of our families receive financial assistance, a benefit made possible only by donations from generous people like you.
With your help, we can provide tuition relief and ensure adequate financial aid; we can sustain and enhance academic excellence; we can maintain, preserve and improve existing facilities and plan for future growth; and we can insure our school's financial stability for generations.
These comprehensive but essential objectives are pursued through a variety of fundraising channels, defined and directed by the schools revised strategic plan. An experienced, motivated core of lay leaders works with the school's professional staff to make sure that we set reasonable and achievable financial goals each year.
The day school relies on the voluntary participation and support of our parents, grandparents, alumni, community leaders and friends to help sustain our present and build our future. Annual Fund
Each year the school relies on the support of our parents, grandparents, alumni families and the general Jewish and secular communities to enable us to offer the kind of academic, social and cultural experience that makes a day school education unique.
Honors and Tributes
Sending a heartfelt message to a friend or loved one can be extremely rewarding. For a minimum gift of $10, we will send a tribute card acknowledging your generous contribution to the school and we will also list your gift in our quarterly newsletter.
Endowment and Restricted Funds
We are very proud of the nearly 30 endowment and restricted use funds that provide ongoing annual support to secure our future growth and stability. We appreciatively accept gifts of cash, securities, in-kind donations and deferred gifts through estate planning. Gifts may be directed to our Annual Campaign or they can also be designated for other purposes such as program and faculty development, scholarship support, facilities and endowment funds.
